RISKworks rmContracts

RISKworks rm.Contracts is a business process management web-application designed to facilitate risk identification in contract language.  It is aimed specifically for contract administrators like business developers, procurement officers and contract managers. 

It employs an interactive questionnaire that interviews the person managing the contract.  At the end of the interview, the system compares the questionnaire’s answers to previously established corporate liability standards and guidelines and determines the contract’s relative risk score.

Along with the risk score, rm.Contracts will provide the contract administrator with in-line prompts.  These prompts help the contract administrator manuscript stronger contract language by providing recommended verbiage (e.g. indemnification language, hold harmless language, etc.) that the contract administrator can insert directly into the contract itself.

In the event that the contract in question does not meet the minimum pre-established thresholds, the contract administrator is advised to submit a copy of the contract for further review by an internal subject matter expert at the customer.  rm.Contracts will then route the contract automatically to the appropriate subject matter expert (e.g. general counsel, insurance or risk management).
